I always complained about the nasty, howling winds in the city of London until this Mind of Style shoot. Check out what my friends and I wore on this windy day:
This is Vanessa’s outfit. I really love this look because it looks clean, and it is a super cool way to wear comfy sneakers, or should I say trainers, in style.
Shirt: BP from Nordstrom
Flannel: Banana Republic
Check out this beauty!
Kelly is quite the stunner! Here are some of her essentials:
Necklace: Tiffany & Co.
As for my outfit, I wanted to share a “Day to Night” look, so I decided to turn “sporty” into “nighttime dressy.” I hope you like it:
Just like every other city, London can bring your feet to pain if you walk around in the wrong shoes. So for this day look I decided to wear my Nikes. Growing up by the beach and the suburbs, I never felt compelled to wear running shoes without athletic attire. But when I moved to London, I almost instantly made the change. It’s nice to feel confident in your outfit but also always feel comfortable in your shoes. This is a simple outfit that can easily be paired with sneakers.
Shirt: Zara (borrowed from my roommate; love you, thank you)
Here is my transition to nighttime look:
I know what you’re thinking: —> 1. where did this coat come from? and 2. what happened to the Nikes?
Have no fear! This purse is fits EVERYTHING. It’s my Mary Poppins bag (painfully hoping you’ll know the reference). During the day I put my platform heels in my purse along with my coat, and when it came dusk I traded out the sneakers for heels and threw on my coat. It’s simple, easy, and I love it! I usually do this type of look when I am out all day and do not have time to go back home to change before I meet friends for dinner. My outfit:
